Ordinary Member (Youth)

Dr Jasmine (Jas) Elliott (she/her) is a Psychiatry trainee based in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia. Her lived experience of mental illness has shaped more than a decade of involvement in youth mental health across peer support, advocacy, governance and clinical care. Growing up in regional and remote Australia, she developed a strong interest in reducing inequities in access to mental health care and ensuring young people's voices are reflected in service design and decision-making.

Jas is currently a Board Director at Orygen, Australia's Centre of Excellence in Youth Mental Health, and has contributed to youth mental health reform through advisory, governance and system improvement roles.

After first attending the International Association for Youth Mental Health (IAYMH) Conference in 2022, Jas served as Youth Convenor for the 2025 Conference in Vancouver, supporting youth engagement across the event. She values IAYMH's unique ability to connect people across disciplines, sectors and countries to improve youth mental health.
