I am an Associate Professor at Orygen and the Centre for Youth Mental Health (University of Melbourne), and Co-Head of the Social and Functional Recovery Research Program. My work focuses on social inclusion as a key determinant of youth mental health, with a strong emphasis on health equity and translating research into policy and practice. I have led national collaborations with organisations including Orygen, headspace, and Mission Australia, and serve as Academic Lead for the Mission Australia Youth Survey, generating evidence to inform system reform.

During my time on the IAYMH Executive Committee I look forward to strengthening youth mental health systems internationally. My work sits at the intersection of research, policy, and service delivery, and is grounded in meaningful engagement with young people. I will bring a focus on implementation, cross-sector collaboration, youth involvement and equity, supporting IAYMH’s role in advancing evidence-informed practice and driving system change for young people.
