Srividya N. Iyer, Ph.D., is the Canada Research Chair in Youth, Mental Health and Learning Health Systems (Tier 1) and a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at McGill University and Researcher at the Douglas Research Centre, Montreal, Canada. Srividya works with and for youth and their communities to better understand the lives, mental health, and well-being of young people, and to design, implement, research, and build capacity and advocate for youth-attuned, effective and culturally and contextually relevant services, supports and policies in Canada and globally, including India, where she was born. Her research spans transdiagnostic, holistic, primary care or community-based youth mental health services and early intervention services for psychosis.
